The gatehouse building at the busy Torquay Depot, adjoining a third-party
property, is a listed building and former pottery. However, it had become
disused and had fallen into disrepair.
Grant Construction was employed to carry out the refurbishment of the
ageing facade, which involved render and masonry repairs, whilst
maintaining the original architectural keystone arch features. A specialist
coating system was applied in-house.
The narrow access track (which was a public right of way) was resurfaced,
whilst public access was maintained at all times.
